Cinderellas of Midsummer Plot
Cinderellas of Midsummer or Manatsu No Cinderella is a Japanese romantic slice-of-life series. It revolves around a group of young people belonging to different educational and professional backgrounds.
Natsumi Aoi has spent her whole life near the sea. She grew up in this small town and now works as a surfing instructor here. Her friends here are Airi Takigawa and Risa Ogura.
Whereas, Kento Mizushima graduated from a very prestigious college in the big city and works there in a big construction company. They coincidentally meet at the sea in mid-summer and start to spend their vacation together.
The series follows them as they grow closer and confront their complex feelings and bottled-up emotions together. The series is directed by rookie director Tanako Ryo and written by Sayaka Shito. It stars Mori Nana, Mamiya Shotaro, Kamio Fuju, Yoshikawa Ai, Hagiwara Riku, Shirahama Alan, Nimura Sawa and more.
