The anime adaptation of the award-winning manga series Shangri-La Frontier is finally here! The broadcasting schedule of the series has been confirmed, and the fans just can’t wait to enter the world of Shangri-La Frontier.
Shangri-La Frontier Plot
The series is set in the future games played on screens are called retro and old-fashioned. Now, VR games have become mainstream. There is a category of games called ‘trash games’ full of glitches and faulty systems.
Here we follow Rakuro Hizutome, who is a great admirer of these games and is known as a trash game hunter.
When he is going through a slump, he buys the best-selling and excellent game called ‘Shangri-La Frontier’ at the suggestion of a store owner.
As he enters the world of the game, he realizes that he has to use all the skills he attained while playing trash games.
