The Faraway Paladin Season 2 Plot
The anime series is based on the light novel series of the same name by Kanata Yanagino and Kususaga Rin. It was released in 2015 on the novel publishing website Shosetsuka ni Naro.
A manga adaptation of the series was also released in 2017 by Mutsumi Okuhashi. The first season of the anime series was produced by Children’s Playground Entertainent and aired in October 2021.
The series is set in the city of the dead which has been ruined for very long and is far from human civilization. Only a single human child named Will lives here. He is being raised by three undead” a hearty skeletal warrior named Blood, the graceful mummified priestess named Mary and the crotchety spectral sorcerer named Gus.

Soon, Will uncovers the mysteries behind the faraway land. He learns of the love and mercy of the gods, as well as their paranoia and madness. We follow him as he embarks on a journey to become a Paladin.
