Kaeda Komura is a shy and good-natured middle school student. He has had his eyes only on Ai since the first day.
Because of his fear of getting rejected, he keeps his feelings to himself but secretly has all his attention fixed on Ai. He wishes that she would notice him with her beautiful eyes.
Ai is a quirky and absent-minded girl who always forgets her glasses. Whenever her glasses are missing, she squints and gets closer to everything, and Kaede just finds it adorable.
Kaede tries to help her out whenever she forgets or loses her glasses. And slowly, Ai also starts to rely on him a lot.
