The official website of the Japanese anime series Goblin Slayer has revealed that the second season will be released on 6 October 2023 as a part of the Fall 2023 anime season. The website also released a brand new key visual of the Goblin Slayer Season 2.
Earlier this year, it was revealed that LIDENFILMS will be taking over the anime from Studio White Fox. It also revealed a promotional video and that it would be released in October 2023. But the fans finally have a confirmed release date for the sequel of Goblin Slayer.
The Goblin Slayer Season 2 Plot
The Goblin Slayer is an anime series based on the Japanese dark fantasy adventure light novel series written by Kumo Kagyu and illustrated by Noboru Kannatsuki.
The anime series first started airing in 2018 and concluded with 12 episodes. The series is set in a world of fantasy where adventurers from far and wide come to join the Guild.
Upon completing their contracts, they receive gold and glory. An inexperienced priestess joins the Guild but immediately comes into danger when she meets a Goblin. Fortunately, she is saved by a man known as Goblin Slayer whose only purpose is to eradicate Goblins with extreme prejudice.
