The series revolves around Rentt Faina, who is a twenty-five-year-old adventurer. He has been catching monsters for a decade but doesn’t have much talent for the job.
He is stuck with hunting slimes and goblins that bring him a very meager amount of money.
One day he comes across an undiscovered path in the Labyrinth of the Moon’s Reflection and at the end of the path, he finds a huge dragon that swallows him whole.
But when he wakes, he finds out that he is not dead! But he is not quite alive either. Now he looks like a skeleton!
Rentt sets off on his quest of achieving Existential Evolution with this new ghoulish look, hoping to return to civilization in a more human form. Will Rentt succeed one day, or will this labyrinth consume him whole?
