Undead Girl Murder Farce episode 9 was titled The Werewolf. The episode featured a flashback of eight years ago. A mother werewolf and her daughter, Jutte, were being chased by an angry mob when they found shelter in a tower. But the tower was set on fire.
Then, coming back to present-day western Germany, the episode shifted to Aya, Tsugaru, and Shizuku on their journey to Heulendorf. It is also known as the Howling Village because of the werewolves living here. Ay has seen a werewolf before. She explained that werewolves are very intelligent being who are capable of communicating with humans and also skilled in hiding and transforming themselves into other forms.
On their way, the trio meet Heinemann, a native from Heulendorf who recognized Tsugaru as the cage user. He begged for his help in finding a girl kidnapped by a werewolf. Apparently, these kidnappings were very common. Last year, the mayor’s granddaughter was also kidnapped by the werewolves.
Later, her lifeless body with bite marks was found in the forest. One thing that was common in these kidnappings were that they took place on rainy nights. However, Louise, the latest victim, disappeared at night when it did not rain.
The trio next met with an old man who tells them that according to legends, the werewolves have been residing near a waterfall called Wonphinhel. The old man wanted the werewolves to be caught because he hated seeing his fellow villagers suffering. But when Aya inquired about Forest of Fangs, the old man’s expression changed completely.
After Aya assured him that they were looking for those who are after werewolves, not the werewolves themselves, the old man made a deal that he would reveal the location if she identified the kidnapper within two days. The episode concluded with a shot of two individuals wearing white, getting off the train, and declaring themselves as exterminators.
